Jatronic AB12-34T is ATEX approved by NEMKO for use with Motorola MTP850Ex Tetra radio. This keying switch has been presented in several forums, including the Tekna Telecom Offshore Conference in Kristiansand in October 2012. It is now out of the test on multiple platforms in the North Sea, and the first oil companies have purchased the switch to its facilities. Jatronic has so far received positive feedback on the switch. It has AB-12’s financial strength, high gain and usability, and signaling functionality allows it to be used in full duplex conversation (conference).
